About Dog Import Guide and disclosure

Dog Import Guide is an independent information site run by Aaron Houston. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the CDC, USDA/APHIS, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, or any government. This site is not veterinary or legal advice; talk to a licensed (and, where needed, USDA-accredited) veterinarian about your dog. The CDC Dog Import Form is free and only available on cdc.gov.

How we check facts: every page cites official sources, mainly cdc.gov/dogtravel, and shows the date we last checked. Anything not confirmed by an official source is labelled "Unconfirmed".

How we are funded: some pages may contain affiliate links to optional products such as pet insurance or eSIMs, and an optional paid checklist. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no cost to you.
